Please let Apple know how you feel about their products. It is possible to change the color of any image editor or to add icons. How do you turn a color? There’s a simple app called LiteIcon (for Yosemite) that can be installed from the free Mac software store. Your folder should now be colorized!įinder folders in Yosemite appear to be electric baby blue, as horrible as it can be. When you’re happy with the results, click on the “OK” button. Use the slider bars to adjust the hue, saturation, and lightness of the folder icon. In the Image Editor, click on the “Adjust Colors” button. Press the “Command + I” keys on your keyboard to open the Image Editor. In the Info window, click on the folder icon in the top left corner. Right-click on the folder you want to colorize. If you’re bored of the standard blue color of your folders in Yosemite, you can easily add a splash of color by changing the folder icon.
